The tape, when pinned around a body part being measured, once you press the button to "tighten", will stay put and just hang there until you take the pin out. Handy if you're measuring yourself and need to record and are forgetful.
The handle, which is nice designed and solid and well shaped to grab onto.
How to use it
It is simple and easy to use. Slip it around the target body part, slip the shunt at the end into the slot, and hit the button to retract the tape. The plastic curving top portion of the holder counts for about 1 3/4 inches, so your measurement is easily visible. You can unslot the shunt and look at it - the tape won't retract until you hit the button.
Here is a simpler instruction
1) Press the release button to release appropriate length of tape.
2) drape tape across body part very loosely
3) Hold tape end "Pin" into pin hole
4) Press release button to tighten tape into place
5) Read tape for proper measurement.
Get the circumference of your body with Wintape body measuring device.This is a nice way to get the measurement of your chest, stomach, arms, legs.. and well anything round. Also used it to measure my desk size when i didn't have a ruler or the normal measuring tape.
